Cross Stitch

I ran out of the yarn I’ve been using for the cardigan, just as I was on the final stretch. I think in those circumstances, my resolution doesn’t apply as it’s more important to finish a WIP in my opinion, so I purchased another skein.

It hasn’t arrived yet and frankly I was a bit exhausted from crochet so it was a relief to put it all aside and do something else. I’ve pottered around with my EPP project, had an idea for a junk journal, but mostly I’ve been cross stitching. It’s been nice to return to it and I’ve got some plans for a few projects, one in particular is my own pattern. The image is my own pattern, just a pic that reminds me of Sebastian that I’ve turned into a cross stitch pattern. I still have heaps of Aida in storage so I only need the thread which will cost $45 from Spotlight. Not bad for a project that will likely keep me preoccupied for ages. I’m not giving up crochet, no way, but definitely my cro-jo has left me for now, and cross stitch has tapped me on the shoulder.
